There are two seminars, one in the afternoons during the festival and one for three full days after the festival. Both seminars are facilitated by Ananta prabhu from France (in English).
The seminars are similar but different.
Both seminars are based on vaisnava principles of communication using modern techniques.
The afternoon seminar is designed for hundreds of participants to quickly build communication skills in interactive exercises with the people they most need those skills with. It is an opportunity for those of us in various service teams or local groups or families to get past some of what may be holding us back from being in real genuine communicative relationships and real teamwork. This is a free seminar for all festival registrants.
The 3 day intensive seminar goes much more in depth to allow each of us to much more deeply develop our communication and teamwork capabilities and more fully explore how both our internal and external communication may or may not be serving us and how to shift toward communication that better suits our lives. This seminar has a $151 registration fee, $108 if you register by February 29.

Vaisnava Communication & Teamwork Experience
Bring your sanga, team, family and work it out.
Seminar given over six afternoons (Tues – Sun) 2:15PM to 4:45 PM during the festival.
This workshop focuses on developing and improving practical communication and teamwork experientially, in real exchanges, with the devotees we have a real need to be in communication and teamwork with. We will create opportunities for devotees to express their inspirations and visions for seva as well as the challenges they have experienced and/or anticipate experiencing with those devotees who they serve with and/or may have “issues” with. This workshop is a practical opportunity for all devotees from grass roots to the local and international leaders to work together in practical groups to move past impediments in service, relationships, or sadhana, etc. and reach out to our visions.
What is the need for a communication workshop, you may ask, or, who needs it?
Our illustrious Gurudeva provides us with the energy and the facility for the highest love that exists. For anyone who accepts and applies Srila Gurudeva’s teaching 100% and is a completely pure devotee, there is no need for anything else. This is because such a devotee is freed from all influence of maya, and for him or her, perfect communication and teamwork come as naturally as breathing.
For all others, we will experience the influence of maya, the mind and ego, and have the occasion to be good examples of why this age is called the age of quarrel and hypocrisy. This workshop offers some practical hands-on experience in proven methods of effective communication and teamwork for all conditioned souls. It gives us an opportunity to have a common communication method to facilitate our living and working together to better serve our Gurudeva.
It is our intention to offer these workshops around the world at the festivals of Gurudeva, and he has blessed this approach. He expressed his desire that we all be endowed with more enthusiasm & inspiration to assist our spiritual masters in the company of like-minded, sincere devotees who desire to bring pleasure to Sri Guru, to all pure Vaisnavas and to Sri Krsna.
We have all experienced the satisfaction of being of service to others, and to our mission as well as the satisfaction of having others assist us or help us personally. We have also no doubt experienced obstacles in, or a lack of participation, in service, communication, and teamwork, which left us disappointed, discouraged, and disheartened. And we would all prefer to experience success rather than failure in our service and relationships.
What is the problem and what is the solution?
The problem generally boils down to a breakdown in communication where we are not understanding each other. Thus, our intentions and actions are not aligned in common purpose, and we are not fulfilled in our sense of purpose or in our relationships.
The solution is effective communication that results in all of us having the confidence that we have been heard, acknowledged, and appreciated. As a result, we now have a common vision of our group purpose, our respective contributions, and our way of communicating and organizing ourselves effectively.
All devotees are requested to please register for this workshop, and please attend at least the first session. If at any time after that you loose interest there is no harm in not attending the remainder of the sessions. However, it would be disruptive to the progressive development of the workshop to miss the first session and then join us for a later session. Thus, once the series begins, registration is closed and no further participants will be permitted to join. Likewise, it is disruptive to join us late in any session, and thus the doors will be closed at 2:30.
For those of us who discover we could benefit from more intensive development of our communication and teamwork skills, a full three-day-intensive seminar is available immediately after the festival.
Vaisnava Communication & Teamwork Intensive

A 3 day seminar given immediately after the festival on Tuesday - Thursday May 6-8 2008.
This seminar is not conducted at the festival site. It is conducted in a hotel conference room in Gainesville. The fee for this seminar barely covers the costs of putting on the seminar only. This is a heavily discounted rate and is limited only to festival registrants. It includes prasad lunch and dinner but does not include your accommodations. You will need to make your own arrangements for lodging in Gainesville during the seminar. Note that the festival ends Sunday night and festival check out is Monday Morning. There will be one day of rest before the seminar begins on Tuesday.

Seminar Synopsis
Introduction
In this interactive workshop based on Vaisnava principles, you learn and experience effective communication techniques, principles of interpersonal relationship, and powerful tools for personal transformation. Further, you identify blocks to success in your life, and achieve breakthroughs for creating deeply fulfilling accomplishments and relationships. You are guided to assume full responsibility for your experience of life, opening doors to new and exciting possibilities in all spheres of endeavor.
This workshop also helps public (formal and informal) speakers such as teachers and leaders in spirituality, academics, business etc. to create a real reciprocal relationship with the audience, as opposed to a one way experience, thus creating a dynamic and open environment where the audience feels understood and develops trust in the speaker. This is even more easily applied in one on one exchanges by a sales person (book distributor), counselor, or manager.
Goals
Serve Sri Guru and Krsna with more enthusiasm and inspiration with like-minded devotees, and also create environments where even unlike minded devotees become like-minded.

Course Summary / Description
You will acquire listening tools as a basis for modules, including interpersonal skills, problem solving, conflict resolution, commitment, teamwork, and assertiveness.
Through participatory activities, you will examine underlying assumptions by which you live your life. This will facilitate a shift in your ability to relate to yourself and others. You can then fully engage your potential and create results in career, spirituality, relationships, and all areas of human endeavor.
You will explore the effect of your interpersonal style and refine your communication and relationship skills. And learn techniques to help make appropriate behavioral changes through more effective communication.
This is a concentrated, powerful communication training, culminating in higher awareness, self-understanding, and satisfying relationships. This experience will improve your communication in your community, temple, at work, with family, and in all interaction.
You will develop skills in good attending behavior, empathic listening, and clear and concrete communication.
Gives participants an understanding and practical experience of the importance of adopting alternative, personally accountable perspectives in the problem-solving process. Participants are taught a systematic approach to the problem-solving process. The focus is on interpersonal skills that create trusting relationships and facilitate personal responsibility in all facets of life.
Participants are provided with opportunities to refine their skills with extensive individual instruction.
